34 Weeks and Counting

To my husband...I love you very much and I just can't wait for little Peanut to come and complete our little family..

I am now 34 weeks and just counting days...

And we don't have a name yet! Yikes....any idea?

I am going to enjoy my weekend...

I am at my most peaceful state ever in my life. I'm more calm (honest)....it's kinda strange really. Most of my pregnant friends just couldn't wait to give birth and whatever, but I like being pregnant.

I LOVE being pregnant.

Sure I waddle and I pee every 5 minutes and I'm sweaty all the time and I take at least 10 minutes to get out bed.

But being pregnant makes me feel....whole

And the fact that I can love this unborn baby of mine so very much...and i know that I'll do anything for him...

It's scary and wonderful at the same time

Peeking Peanut

My name : Peanut (for the moment...I hope!)

Gestational Age : 28 weeks (but hey, I was told that I look much younger than my age ;))

Length : 14.4 inches

Favourite position : On the very left of Mommy's tummy. It's darn cozy and comfy here. Never mind that Mommy is uncomfy all the time whenever I snuggle up tightly.

Favourite moves : Tripple sommersaults, nose dive, crouching tiger fist punches, hidden dragon right left then right kicks before double whammy and a header. Never mind that Mommy groans with excrutiating pain whenever I do that to her tummy.

Favourite food : I don't exactly have a choice here. I eat whatever Mommy eats *sighs* But I
do enjoy wan tan mee and green apple a lot. And I LOVE spicy food.

Favourite time of the day : Very early in the morning when Mommy likes to hear my heartbeat with the fetal monitor and just before Mommy and Daddy goes to bed. That is when we like to discuss how our days went.

Favourite i-Tunes : Duffy's Mercy. This song gets me wiggling my bum and my toes.

Favourite sound : Of course, Mommy's voice and Daddy's whenever he tells me stories of this
thing call 'Manchester United'. I have been told by Daddy that I am forbidden to support any other team than MU. Mommy secretly told me that it's OK to like Liverpool ;)

Favourite activities : Eat, sleep, eat, sleep, kick kick kick, sleep, eat, kick kick kick, eat, sleep

Favourite pet : I am a cat lover. Sometimes Mommy lets the cat sit on her tummy. Daddy
doesn't know about this so...shhhh

Favourite place : Anywhere there's food :)

Worst sound : Sound of Mommy's male boss yakking away in the office and PRETENDING to do his work when he's actually chatting on YM or surfing the net for handbags and
make ups. Yes it's you, you nincampoop! I don't give a r@ts a$$ if

Can anyone tell where where can I do 3D/4D scan for Peanut? Was suppose to go and do it at An-Nur in Bangi but unfortunately the sonographer is away on 'umrah' and they have no idea when will she be back (?)

By the way what's the difference between a 3D and a 4D scan?

Anyway, this got me staring at me face for hours :)

Happy Weekend Y'all

This week flew by so quickly and I can't believe it's already Friday. Hooray! :) People say time moves quickly when you're having fun.

On the contrary really.

Work is beginning to pile up and with the impending EXCO and BOD meetings and AGM just looming around the corner, my prediction is that the next two months will be my busiest months of the year *sighs* I dread AGM though I thoroughly enjoy the end product, I detest the work.

Anyway, I'm feeling Peanut kicking more and more these days, much to Mr Frankie's delight for Mr Frankie foster this dream of sending his first newborn to Manchester United Football School. And whether Peanut is a boy or a girl doesn't seems to matter to Mr Frankie hahahaha!

We just purchased a car seat for Peanut. We decided to go for car seat instead of a baby carrier because baby carrier don't last that long and plus we can't afford to get both so we opted to go for the car seat. So off we went to MC and got this for Peanut :)

Congratulations To Nana and Wan and My Belly Shot At 20 Weeks

Congratulations are in order for my good friend Marina and her husband Wan who tied the knot last weekend. Mr Frankie and I went to their 'kenduri' and we had a blast! The food was delicious and the event was very happening :)

Nana is so beautiful in her criomson dress and Wan looks so handsome in his crimson suit and they make a lovely couple.

To Nana and Wan, congratulations again from Mr Frankie and I and Peanut.

Hahahahahahahahaha! (god Nana is so going to strangle me for this ;))

And this handosme young man is Miki, diyanazman's 2-month old son. Just look at those chubby cheeks! I can just bite'em and kiss'em and bite'em again and kiss'em again :D

Miki is just so adorable and very cute I was this close to bring him home with me...heheheheh

And this is my belly at 20 weeks. Huge oui? Heheheheheh.

I never really felt 'pregnant' before but it seems like one day I woke up and I had trouble getting out of bed and my tummy seemed to ballooned up overnight and I feel so very pregnant!

I'm due for my check up tomorrow and Wednesday.

Say, has anyone given birth in Hospital Serdang before? Do they administer epidural??

Baby Sofiya

We have not seen baby Sofiya for the longest of time (3 months is very very long) and since my sister's wedding is tomorrow, we have a whole bunch of family members gathering at my house tonight and guess who just arrived?

It's baby Sofiya...or just Sofiya as she has grown so much since the lat time we saw her! And just look at her she is getting cuter and cuter.

I can't wait to go back to my parent's place. I just want to bite her chubby cheeks! :)

When The Whole Family Got Together...

Last Saturday my family and I had a lovely food tasting session in Residence Uniten as my sister will be holding her wedding recption there this coming Friday. Us being us, we are suckers for free food (hahahahahaha!) So off we went to Residence at about 8:00 p.m.

Though I couldn't eat the 'nasi minyak' but that did not deter me from enjoying the dishes yums yums! And after dinner we decided to head to the seafood retaurant for some live music. We were singing along to the music sang by this Indonesian band and had coffee and tea and just hang out it was fun!

That's my younger sister K.Chik and that's Atan, the youngest in the family. These people LOVES the camera (camwh0re betul budak budak nih heheheheh)

Bank Rakyat Melawati Branch Is The Worst

I have been dealing with Bank Rakyat Melawati Branch close to 4 years now and I can safely say that BANK RAKYAT MELAWATI BRANCH IS THE WORST BANK EVER.

The staffs are VERY RUDE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

What happened?

I shall not elaborate.

Suffice to say that they treat their customers like crap, have no sense of courtesy whatsoever and frickkin' lazy bunch of people.

For once, DO YOUR DAMN JOB.

Pleaselah, you are in the financial and service business. Learn how to talk to your customers with respect.

We don't take your money for free. We pay it back....with interest.

Hi I'm Back :)

First of all I want to say thanks to all well wishers :) I really appreciate it.

Secondly, I am fine and Peanut is fine we're both fine *alhamdulillah* praise to God :) I'd do anything to ensure that Peanut is safe even if it means injecting myself with insulin 4 times a day *ouch* I'll blog about my insulin galore soon.

I was couped up in my parent's house in Bangi for about a week and when Sunday came I told Mr Frankie that I MUST go out before I go crazy. I was seriously ill mind you. I couldn't even stand for more than 5 minutes without feeling like passing out, but I just needed some fresh air. So we decided to do some baby shopping. Off we went to Ikano. It was quite a quiet weekend not many people around. My guess is with Thursday being holiday, most people 'balik kampung' or went for a holiday.

Anyway, we managed to get some things for Peanut. The steam sterilizer was a steal (My mom is going to look after Peanut later so I though an electric steamer would not burden me mom so much, plus it was on sale).

We got Peanut some clothes too :)

And this is what Peanut's daddy got him/her. Oh my, that child has no say in choosing his football team hehehehe!

And I plan to take Peanut's naked pictures as much as I can. I learn from my mom that you can use the pictures to blackmail your child later on in is/her life.

It worked on me. Ehem...

I'm 18 weeks along now and I'm beginning to feel Peanut moving more and more. We went for a scan last weekend to find out if Peanut is a he or a she but Peanut must be a really shy baby as the doctor can't see his private part at all. We are to go for a detail scan when I'm 22 weeks so I hope we can tell by then.

A LIttle Bad News From The Doctor Today....

A little bad news from the doctor today.

Coming from a family with history of diabetes, I have been confirmed that I have gestational diabetes so I will be admitted into the ward tomorrow for observation and insulin injections.

Well, gestational diabetes is quite common really so I'm not too worried though I do feel a little scared. I hate needles, especially when my vein is just so impossible to find. The last time I had my blood drawn, the doctor took almost 10 minutes to locate my vein. So imagine my horror tomorrow!!

Anyway, do pray for me and I'll keep you updated.

Ultrascan At 14 Weeks...just a lil update

Hi there! For some reason my mom and dad call me Peanut, however I believe they have some better names for me later when I'm born (and I truly hope so!)

Here I am at 14 weeks. My mom just couldn't wait to see me at 16 weeks so what she did was she went for a sacn without daddy knowing about it (hehehehehehe)

Anyway I am not very handsome/pretty here. My left side is never my best side. I've been telling mommy about it but mommy likes to see my face instead of my bum ;)

I have been drinking alot of chocolate milk cause normal milk makes my mommy puke. Also I eat a lot of cheese and Tropicana ice cream. Between you and me, I like the ice cream better so I make my mommy wants to eat Tropicana ice cream every day *shhh don't tell my mom*

So far I'm growing very very fast. I've been kicking mommy to let her know that I'm inside here but I guess she won't be able to feel me yet.

And daddy likes to make mommy laugh so when she laughs I get all giddy because mommy laugh so hard that I feel like there's earthquake inside here.

I'm happily swimming in my warm amniotic fluid though it can get pretty lonely in here all alone so sometimes I like to play with my placenta.

And I just heard mommy telling daddy that she's waiting for daddy to come and pick her up. Which means that I'll be getting my Tropicana ice cream soon ;)
